Yogi Sunando Basu

Basu started painting in his childhood and later graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Art from Government College of Art & Craft Kolkata 2001. Basu won his first national award in 1999.
His paintings have been showcased in solo as well as in group shows.

Sunando Basu is also a pranik healer. "The ideas for my paintings evolve from my spiritual practice on their own. I don’t have to push myself to think of an idea. I paint through the guidance of a higher consciousness. Whatever I draw, I initially receive the vision or messages; then I try to reach there or achieve that in my painting.  So it works as an instrument of ‘Divine Healing’".

He works and stays in New Delhi.
