About the Artist

Arun Samadder lives and paints in Kolkata, West Bengal. He believes that every artistic creation is a divine beauty by itself. He chooses to depict Indian mythology as a subject for his art because of its vastness and relevance with our day to day life especially the Mahabharata. He finds that it gives a generous overview of the ancient Indian culture and also the fact that it is so much more animated. Through his strong visual statement he takes us back into his old heritage.
